Nokomis is a short drive and a different garage. Casey Key wants access planned, a finished look, and a floor that can take salt without looking like a marina shop. Inland, the bays are often tight — one car, a water heater, a door that does not swing past the freezer. Same town. The grind still happens. The choreography does not.

Tight bay, full life
An inland Nokomis garage was a single bay with a freezer, a bike hook, and a door that opened onto the drive at an angle you could not stage a trailer through. We did not need a bigger crew. We needed a system that could be done in place without turning the driveway into a warehouse. Casey Key, same month: longer drive in, HOA window, a three-car that wanted to look like the rest of the house. Both floors got a ground slab and a polyaspartic. Only one of them had room to breathe.
What we actually coat in Nokomis
- Casey Key and key-approach houses with access rules and salt at the threshold
- Inland Laurel and Nokomis bays that are small, full, and still worth coating
- Sand and salt that come home even when the house is not on the water
Nokomis questions we actually get
Our garage is tiny. Is it still worth coating?
A tight Nokomis bay is often the room you see every day. Small is not a reason to leave stained concrete. It is a reason to plan the install so you can still live around it.
Do you work on Casey Key?
Yes. Access and timing are part of the quote. We do not show up with a full street takeover and hope.
Will salt air peel the floor at the garage door?
Salt plus UV is why we use a UV-stable topcoat and a real grind. Peeling at the threshold is usually a film that was never bonded, not “the key did it.”
Can you work around a freezer or water heater that has to stay?
Usually. We protect what stays and coat around what cannot move. We will say so if something has to come out for a clean job.
